New Year’s Day marks the transition into a new year, a moment when we leave the past months behind to welcome the steps ahead. At this time of year, cities and mountains take on a special atmosphere, each with its own winter charm.

We offer you a 4-day, 3-night trip in the French Alps region, in a unique mountain setting, where winter traditions blend harmoniously with natural landscapes.

The first stop is Alpe d’Huez, one of the most popular ski resorts in France. Its wide slopes, fresh air, and open panoramas offer winter sports lovers a complete experience. The resort is suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers.

Accommodation is planned in Grenoble, a city located at the foot of the mountains, known for its impressive views and its harmonious mix of modern neighborhoods and traditional areas. Its lively streets, squares, cafés, and promenades offer many places to explore during your stay.

Each day, you will have the option to choose between another day of skiing in Alpe d’Huez or exploring Grenoble, allowing for a flexible program perfectly suited to everyone’s preferences.

On the last day, we will visit Lyon, a city renowned for its elegant architecture, lively streets, and peaceful atmosphere. Lyon is the ideal place for a relaxed stroll, discovering historic districts, or tasting local specialties before heading back home.

This 4-day trip gives you the opportunity to combine the sports activities of Alpe d’Huez, the urban and mountain vibe of Grenoble, and the elegance of the city of Lyon.

Departure to the Alpe d’Huez ski resort

• 00:00 – Departure for our overnight journey toward the mountains.

Day 2 – December 31
Day at Alpe d’Huez

• 09:00 – Arrival at the Alpe d’Huez ski resort

Located at 1,860 m altitude, Alpe d’Huez is known for its wide, very sunny slopes, and for its exceptional panoramas over the Oisans massif. The ski area is vast and extends up to around 3,330 m altitude, ensuring quality snow and spectacular viewpoints.

• 09:00–16:50 – Explore the mountains and enjoy the ski slopes.

In addition to skiing, you can take the panoramic gondola, stop on the high-altitude terraces, discover the snowpark, shop in sports stores, or simply stroll around the resort to enjoy the alpine atmosphere.

• 17:00 – Departure to the hotel.
• 18:30 – Check-in at the ⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotel, located in the very center of Grenoble.

A pleasant hotel, made up of comfortable apartments, surrounded by many restaurants, cafés, and bars.

Free time to discover Grenoble.

The city is surrounded by three Alpine massifs and offers charming historic alleys, lively squares, several museums, as well as the famous “Les Bulles” cable car, which goes up to Fort de la Bastille for a breathtaking view over the entire valley.

Skiing or visiting Grenoble

After breakfast, you can choose between another day of skiing or exploring Grenoble.

Lyon & Return to Paris

An authentic city and the gastronomic capital of France, Lyon charms visitors with its Renaissance historic center, its hidden passageways called “traboules”, its lively squares, and its walks along the Saône river. You can visit the old district, taste local specialties in a traditional Lyonnais “bouchon”, or stroll around to take great photos.
