Attention: For this excursion, the departure is not from Paris, but from Aix-en-Provence. You must make your own way to the meeting point. Aix-en-Provence is a beautiful city. You can take advantage of this excursion to spend an entire weekend there. Aix-en-Provence is just 3 hours away from Paris by TGV. L’association Polyglot Club, spécialisée dans l’organisation d’événements dédiés à la pratique des langues, est ravie de vous convier à une journée linguistique et culturelle exceptionnelle le samedi 13 avril, avec le transport en autocar inclus (depuis Aix-en-Provence).
Admirez l’éclat royal de Monaco et explorez les ruelles séculaires d’Eze, où chaque pas révèle des vues époustouflantes sur la Méditerranée, vous plongeant dans un cadre où le charme historique et la beauté naturelle de la Côte d’Azur se rencontrent en parfaite harmonie.
Votre guide et animateur : Cette excursion sera animée en deux langues français/anglais par votre showman irlandais préféré, Dónal, connu et adoré pour animer les soirées polyglottes chaque mardi soir à Aix, apportant son humour et sa joie de vivre contagieuse.
PROGRAMME
1. Départ Aix-en-Provence : rendez-vous à 07h00 précise, départ à 07h30
2. Eze
Arrivée à Eze, un magnifique village médiéval perché sur un éperon rocheux avec des vues imprenables sur la Méditerranée. Commencez par une visite du Jardin Exotique d’Eze, où vous pourrez admirer une vaste collection de plantes succulentes et un panorama époustouflant sur la mer. Ensuite, promenez-vous dans les ruelles étroites et escarpées du village, découvrez les boutiques d’artisanat local et les galeries d’art.
3. Monaco
- Commencez par le quartier de Monte-Carlo, avec ses jardins luxuriants et sa célèbre architecture. Visitez ensuite le Palais Princier. Poursuivez avec une promenade dans le Vieux Monaco, où vous pourrez visiter la Cathédrale de Monaco. Promenez-vous sur le port pour admirer les yachts et le circuit de Grand Prix, si le temps le permet.
- Profitez d’un moment libre pour explorer les boutiques de luxe, les cafés ou simplement pour vous imprégner de l’atmosphère unique de Monaco.
4. Retour Aix-en-Provence à 18h30

Venir depuis Marseille : Le lieu de rendez-vous se situe à côté de la gare routière. C’est pratique, si vous venez en bus depuis Marseille. Vous pouvez prendre la navette n°50 (toutes les 20 minutes le samedi) de la Gare St Charles (Marseille) à la gare routière (Aix-en-Provence). Temps de trajet Marseille – Aix : compter 40 minutes.

Day Trip: Monaco & Eze
The Polyglot Club association, specialized in organizing events dedicated to language practice, is delighted to invite you to an exceptional linguistic and cultural day on Saturday, April 13th, with coach transport included.
Experience the splendors of Monaco and the enchanting village of Eze. Marvel at Monaco’s royal allure and explore the ancient alleyways of Eze, where each step unveils breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, immersing you in an environment where historical charm and the natural beauty of the French Riviera meet in perfect harmony.
This excursion will be hosted in both French and English by your favorite Irish showman, Dónal, known and loved for animating the polyglot evenings every Tuesday night in Aix, bringing his humor and contagious zest for life.
PROGRAM
1. Departure from Aix-en-Provence: meet at 07:00 sharp, departure at 07:30.
2. Eze
Arrival in Eze, a magnificent medieval village perched on a rocky spur with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. Start with a visit to the Exotic Garden of Eze, where you can admire a vast collection of succulent plants and a stunning panorama of the sea. Then, wander through the narrow and steep streets of the village, discover local craft shops and art galleries.
3. Monaco
Start with the district of Monte-Carlo, with its lush gardens and famous architecture. Then visit the Prince’s Palace. Continue with a walk in Old Monaco, where you can visit the Monaco Cathedral. Walk around the harbor to admire the yachts and the Grand Prix circuit, if time permits. Enjoy some free time to explore luxury boutiques, cafes, or simply to soak up the unique atmosphere of Monaco.
4. Return to Aix-en-Provence at 18:30.

Avenue Henri Mouret, Aix-en-Provence. On the street side of casino (Partouche) there is a dedicated parking space for buses. See the exact location on a map.
How to come from Marseille: the meeting point is next to the Aix bus station. It’s convenient, if you come by bus from Marseille.
You can take the shuttle bus #50 (every 20 minutes on Saturday) from Gare St Charles (Marseille) to the bus station (Aix-en-Provence). Travel time Marseille – Aix: about 40 minutes.
