La Rochelle, Ile de Re & Ile d'Oleron - July 24-26, 2026
Set off for a maritime weekend on the Atlantic coast: ocean air, the beaches of Ile de Re, La Rochelle's Old Port and the authentic atmosphere of Ile d'Oleron.
SCHEDULE
DAY 1 - FRIDAY 24 JULY
- 11:30 PM: meet at Place de la Nation, Paris 12th arrondissement.
- Departure for an overnight journey to the Atlantic coast: the ocean, the salty air and two charming islands await us.
DAY 2 - SATURDAY 25 JULY - Ile de Re
- 7:30 AM: arrival on the island.
- Relaxing morning on Gros Jonc beach, known for its fine sand and pleasant atmosphere.
- Free time to enjoy the sea, ride a bike or walk through typical villages with white houses and pastel shutters.
- Option to discover the small ports of La Flotte or Ars-en-Re, local markets, artisanal ice cream shops and flower-filled streets.
- 6:00 PM: departure for La Rochelle.
- Hotel check-in and free evening.
- Suggestions: stroll through the historic Old Port district, visit the Towers of La Rochelle, walk along the seafront, shop in the city-centre streets or have dinner in a seafood restaurant.
DAY 3 - SUNDAY 26 JULY - La Rochelle & discovery options
- 8:00 AM: breakfast.
- Free time to discover La Rochelle: central market, aquarium, old port, city-centre shops, cafe terraces or seaside walk.
- Optional boat cruise to approach the famous Fort Boyard.
- Or excursion to Ile d'Oleron, known for its colourful huts, oyster ports and small waterside restaurants.
- 4:00 PM: departure towards Paris.
- 10:30 PM: estimated arrival in Paris.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
In case of cancellation less than 30 days before departure, the deposit paid is non-refundable. The participant may transfer the booking to another person and provide the replacement person's details to the organizer within the required timeframe.

CANCELLATION
For day trips, optional cancellation insurance provides a 100% refund with supporting documentation for an eligible reason, or a 70% refund without supporting documentation. Without insurance, the ticket is non-refundable but may be transferred by providing the replacement participant's first and last name.
