Frequently Asked Questions
ABOUT PREPARING FOR THE TRIP:
1. What do I need to bring?
Pack your suitcase with the essentials: ID card or passport, driver’s license if you want to rent a car, health insurance card if you have one, and cash. Bring light clothing, swimsuits, comfortable shoes, flip-flops, sunglasses, a cap or hat, and a sweatshirt for the evenings. Don’t forget sunscreen, toiletries, a beach towel, charger, external battery, and a small backpack for day trips. For our theme parties, check the dress code so you can bring what you need!!!!
ABOUT THE TRIP:
1. Will I have to leave a security deposit?
Yes. On the first day, the staff will ask you for a deposit of โฌ50 per person in cash, as a guarantee for any possible damage to the hotel.
This amount will be refunded in full at the end of your stay, provided that no damage has been caused to the facilities.
2. Do I have to take all my luggage with me on the ferry?
You don’t need to take all your luggage with you. The bus that took you to the port will accompany us onto the ferry. However, anything left on the bus cannot be retrieved until we arrive in Ibiza. In any case, please check with your tour leader if you have any questions, as restrictions may change from year to year.
3. Will we have cabins on the ferry?
No, there are no cabins on either the Valencia/Barcelona to Ibiza ferry or the Ibiza to Valencia/Barcelona ferry. You can enjoy the common areas where you will find chairs/armchairs. Besides, you won’t want to rest on the ferry from Valencia to Ibiza because we offer an incredible party with one of our DJs.
4. Can alcohol be brought onto the ferry?
No, alcohol is not allowed on board. If you are carrying any alcohol, you will have to leave it on the bus.
5. How many stars does the hotel have?
We will be staying in a tourist class hotel, which can vary between 1 and 3 stars, depending on availability and group size. This means you will have everything you need to enjoy your trip: private bathroom, basic cleaning, and breakfast included. A comfortable and functional place to rest between parties and excursions. The important thing is that you enjoy the Ibiza experience to the fullest!
The azuLine hotel Pacific will be the main hotel.
*Hotels are subject to change.
6. Is breakfast at the hotel included in the price of the trip?
Yes, the trip includes 3 full breakfasts at the hotel. The only breakfast that is not included is on the first day, as we will be doing an early check-in when we arrive early in the morning, but this does not count as a full night’s accommodation.
7. What time is breakfast served?
Generally between 8:00 and 10:30 a.m., but this may vary.
8. Does the hotel provide shower gel and shampoo?
Yes, the hotel usually provides basic shower gel and shampoo, although you can bring your own if you prefer something more personal.
9. Does the hotel provide towels?
The hotel usually provides at least one towel per person. We recommend bringing an extra towel for the beach. Ask us when your trip is approaching to be sure!
10. What are the rooms like at the hotel?
Generally, the rooms at the hotel will be triple rooms, however, depending on the layout, some guests may be accommodated in double rooms. If you want to be sure of staying in a double room, we recommend purchasing the supplement for it, because normally, triple rooms are assigned.
The third bed may be a pouf bed (a type of sofa bed or extra mattress), which is smaller than a standard bed but still designed for comfortable sleeping.
Room assignments are usually random. However, we always try to ensure that rooms are shared by people of the same sex.
11. Can I sleep in a single room?
If you prefer a single room, you can request one when making your reservation, but please note that there is an additional charge on top of the standard price of the trip. Single rooms are limited and subject to availability, so we recommend requesting one in advance if you are looking for more privacy during your stay.
12. Does the hotel have a gym?
No, but… there’s nothing better than exercising on the beach!
ABOUT THE EXCURSIONS:
1. What does the excursion to Formentera consist of?
Our bus will pick us up at the hotel and take us to the Port of Ibiza, where we will take a ferry to Formentera. The ferry ride takes between 30 minutes and 1 hour.
Once in Formentera, you have different options:
- Rent a car, motorcycle, or bicycle to explore the island at your own pace. You will find various rental options near the port. This will allow you to explore the island at your own pace, discover hidden coves, spectacular viewpoints, and more remote, idyllic beaches. It is ideal if you want to create your own route and move around freely.
- Enjoy your free time, walk around the island, and let yourself be surprised. If you prefer to take it easy and not rent anything, you can stroll around the port or walk to Ses Illetes. Formentera is small, very safe, and perfect for getting around on foot. Along the way, you can discover beautiful spots, take photos, and enjoy nature in its purest form.
- Meet us at our meeting point on Ses Illetes beach, where everyone who wants to join in the fun will gather. There, we’ll get together with anyone who wants to enjoy the sun, white sand, and turquoise waters. It’s the perfect place to relax, swim, play on the beach, and have a good time with other students.
We will then decide on a meeting time at the Port of Formentera to catch our ferry back. The ferry journey takes between 30 minutes and 1 hour.
When we arrive at the Port of Ibiza, our bus will pick us up and take us to the hotel.
We recommend you bring!!!
- ID card or passport and driver’s license if you plan to rent a motorcycle or car.
- Swimsuit/bikini already on or in your backpack.
- Beach towel.
- Sunglasses.
- Sunscreen.
- Flip-flops or sandals and comfortable shoes if you plan to walk or drive.
- Comfortable, lightweight clothing.
- A change of dry clothes in case you change before returning
- Water, snacks, and food (although you can buy these there)
- Some cash or a card
- Cell phone and external battery
- Small backpack or tote bag
2. What does the trip to Cala Tarida involve?
The bus will pick us up at the hotel and take us to the cove. Once there, you can enjoy some free time or we will have a meeting point to enjoy together with entertainment provided by our staff.
We will meet at a specific time and place where the bus will pick us up to take us back to the hotel.
3. What does the trip to Dalt Vila involve?
The bus will pick us up at the hotel and take us to the port of Ibiza. At the port of Ibiza, a local guide will be waiting for us and will take us on a tour of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes through the historic center of Ibiza. After the tour, we will have some free time in the center.
We will agree on a time and meeting point for the bus to pick us up and take us back to the hotel.
ABOUT THE PARTIES:
1. Does the trip include parties?
Of course! We start with a party on board the ferry from Valencia to Ibiza (*the ferry from Barcelona will not have a party on board, with a DJ and a great atmosphere as we sail towards the island. Once in Ibiza, on the first day after a little rest, we’ll welcome you with a pool party at the hotel, perfect for getting to know each other, a preview of what’s to come. Obviously, every night in Ibiza there will be a different party waiting for us in the island’s nightclubs, with different themes so that each one is unique. So yes, bring your energy… because this is going to be crazy in a good way!
2. Are transfers to the parties included?
Yes, transfers to the parties are included when necessary, i.e., if the nightclub is far from the hotel and cannot be easily reached on foot. In such cases, we organize one-way transportation so that you can get there without any complications.
The return trip is usually at your own expense, as return times often vary from person to person and the party lasts until very late. But don’t worry, we’ll always give you recommendations on how to get back to the hotel safely.
3. Do the parties include drinks?
By default, parties do not include drinks, unless otherwise stated in the specific information for each event. In other words, admission to the clubs is included in the trip, but drinks are paid for separately.
On some special occasions, we may have promotions or tickets that include drinks, and if so, we will let you know in advance. So stay tuned for updates!
