The program
Day 1: 21.04.25
Arrival and welcome:
Stay in a double room at the Hotel Boutique Faro Silleiro, where you can enjoy its saltwater pool with views of the Atlantic, relax by the fireplace in the library located in its tower, and take walks in nature.
Day 2: 22.04.25
You will discover Baiona, a seaside town where La Pinta arrived in 1493, the first caravel to dock after traveling to America with Christopher Columbus.
You will visit the Monterreal Fortress and its famous Prince’s Tower.
In the afternoon, you will travel with your fellow participants by private transport to the city of Pontevedra, where you will spend the rest of the week.
Day 3: 23.04.25

Scrapbooking workshop to create a travel journal with a Galicia theme.
You will learn how to use it to practice Spanish, document your trip, and create memories.
12:15 – 13:30
Spanish class.
17:00 – 20:00
Drawing workshop with wine and Galician product tasting at Techo de la Ballena, the beautiful studio of Venezuelan artist Susana Suniaga.
You will learn vocabulary related to following instructions, art, and Galician culture while connecting with your creativity.
Day 4: 24.04.25

Spanish class.
You will learn vocabulary related to cooking and shopping.
We will work with recipes that you will prepare in the afternoon.

Cooking workshop at Via Nai.
Silvia and Mercedes, a lovely mother-daughter duo, will teach you how to cook traditional Galician dishes.
Day 5: 25.04.25

Spanish class.
16:30 – 19:30
Treasure hunt in Pontevedra.
On this day, you will explore the streets of the city. You will have to complete various challenges, gather information, talk to people, and find the final destination.
There, you will receive a prize for your great work.

An exclusive hotel located in the historic Cabo Silleiro Lighthouse, where you can enjoy its saltwater pool and the beauty of the surroundings.
Apartamento Pasantería
A spacious and elegant apartment located in the historic heart of Pontevedra. The area is full of life, surrounded by the city’s best gastronomy—from traditional Galician tapas bars to Michelin-starred restaurants.
It features a fully equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, Smart TV, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, induction stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, and iron.
All rooms are fully furnished, and you can stay in a private room or, if you prefer, share a double room with a friend or family member.

My name is Ana. I have a degree in Tourism, a certification in Hotel Management, and I am a tour guide and a Spanish teacher for foreign learners.
For years, I lived and worked abroad, so I know firsthand how important it is to master a country’s language to truly integrate.

Are transfers included?
Flights and airport transfers are not included. However transfers between the house and the activities are included.
What is included in the price?
Seven nights’ accommodation in a double or single room, according to preference. Participation in excursions, guided visits, workshops and Spanish classes.
Which is the nearest airport and train station?
The nearest airports are:
Vigo airport (37 km away).
Santiago de Compostela airport (75 km away).
The nearest train station is Pontevedra.
What level of Spanish is required to participate?
It is needed to have an advance begginer level as minimum, equivalent to approximately A2 level of the Common Reference Language Framework.
You will gain confidence by learning new vocabulary and expressions used by native speakers and you will naturally put into practice what you have already studied.
If you are at a higher level, you can join the group and I am sure that during the trip there will be lots of situations to learn something new.
It may suit you if you feel like brushing up on your speaking, if you feel insecure about speaking, want to grow your confidence or want to build on what you know.
If you have any doubts about whether you are at the right level for this experience, ask the question to Ana in our group.

Can I travel with my own group (my family, friends, colleagues, etc.)?
Of course, if you share your room with a friend or relative, the price will be lower than if you stay in a single room. If you plan to travel in a group you will also get a special price. Please do not hesitate to contact Ana in our group to arrange a 15 minute chat!
Do I need to take out medical insurance?
You will be covered by travel insurance, but I recommend that you take out your own private insurance where you can choose all the coverage necessary for you. I recommend including sickness cover in the unfortunate event that this should happen during the language trip.
Please make sure you have all the necessary documents to travel to Spain. Check your embassy website for the current rules for entering Spain from your country. It is recommended that you get your European Health Insurance Card.
After booking your place you will receive a questionnaire to find out if you have any food preferences or allergies or to let me know how to best make your trip as comfortable as possible.
Can I travel with a friend?
Of course, the house where you will be staying has great double rooms that you can share with someone at a reduced price.
I am vegan, vegetarian or have any intolerance. Do I have to indicate it?
A minimum of 4 people is needed to carry out this program.

Minimum age requirements:
- Participants over 18 years old can join.
- Participants under 18 years old may join the excursion on a case-by-case basis but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Deposits and Cancellation Policy
At the time of booking, a deposit of €350 must be paid to reserve the language immersion program.
The remaining balance of the total program price must be paid one month after the booking is made.
Once the trip is confirmed, the following cancellation policy will apply:
- If the client cancels the booking at any time before thirty (30) calendar days prior to the scheduled trip, they will be entitled to a full refund minus the €350 deposit.
- In case of cancellation between fifteen (15) and twenty-nine (29) calendar days, the client will be entitled to a refund of 50% of the total amount paid at the time of booking.
- After this period, the client will not be entitled to any refund.
