Trip Overview
Enjoy an exceptional journey through the Pearl River Delta from February 26 to March 10, 2026, during the magical Lantern Festival in China.
This trip includes Hong Kong, Macao, Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Chaozhou, Foshan, Shunde, Kaiping and Taishan.
Day 1 – Guangzhou
Arrival in Guangzhou. Transfer by private coach to the hotel. Enjoy a stroll through the lively streets and experience the delicious local cuisine.
Day 2 – Lantern Festival (元宵节) in Guangzhou
Visit the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall (Chen Jia Ci 陈家祠), one of the largest and best-preserved Cantonese ancestral halls. Known as the Pearl of Lingnan Architectural Art, it is now the Guangdong Folk Art Museum, home to a rich collection of folk crafts from the Ming and Qing dynasties.
The Lantern Festival is a time for families to reunite, eat sweet glutinous rice balls (元宵), and pray for peace and good fortune. In ancient China, it was also an opportunity for young men and women to meet — often referred to as the Chinese Valentine’s Day.
In the evening, stroll through the lantern displays, enjoy dragon and lion dances, and celebrate the first full moon of the year.
Day 3 – Guangzhou • Guifengshan Mountain • Shenzhen
Discover the Guifeng Mountain National Forest Park, a AAAA-rated scenic attraction with 98% forest coverage. Frequently surrounded by mist, the mountain creates a dreamlike atmosphere, like a paradise on earth.
Day 4 – Shenzhen • Hong Kong
Visit the former Marine Police Headquarters at Tsim Sha Tsui (built in 1881). In 1842, the No.1 Kowloon West Battery was established on this site before being abandoned in 1854. In 1884, the Marine Police Headquarters was built here.
Enjoy a harbour cruise across Victoria Harbour with breathtaking views. National Geographic Travel listed this ferry crossing among the “50 lifetime must-do experiences”.
See Golden Bauhinia Square, near the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, offering stunning views of Victoria Harbour.
Then head to Victoria Peak, the highest point on Hong Kong Island and one of the city’s most iconic attractions.
Day 5 – Hong Kong • Macao • Zhuhai
Discover the Ruins of St. Paul’s, one of Macao’s most famous landmarks, with only the façade remaining after a fire in 1835.
Visit Fortaleza do Monte, one of the oldest Western-style fortresses still standing in China.
Stroll along Guanye Street, famous for traditional Macao snacks.
Experience the romantic charm of the Parisian Macao, inspired by the Eiffel Tower.
Admire the Londoner Clock Tower, inspired by the Palace of Westminster and featuring a 96-meter-high Elizabeth Tower with a unique clock design.
Explore the Venetian Resort, with canal bridges, waterways, and cobbled lanes inspired by Venice.
Day 6 – Zhuhai
Visit Zhuhai’s iconic landmark, the Fisher Girl Statue, then walk along the Lovers’ Road to enjoy the city’s coastal beauty and hear the legend of the Fisher Girl.
Discover the Zhuhai Grand Theatre, nicknamed the Sun and Moon Shells, the only opera house in China built on an island. Its twin shell-shaped structures form a spectacular architectural ensemble.
Day 7 – Zhuhai • Chaozhou
Visit the Thai Buddhist Temple, inspired by a marble temple in Thailand, showcasing authentic Thai architectural features.
Explore the Han Yu Memorial, one of Chaozhou’s top historical attractions, and learn about the four major contributions made by Han Yu, one of the Eight Great Masters of the Tang and Song dynasties.
Visit the Xiangzi Bridge (including the upper bridge), one of the four great ancient bridges of China. Its unique “eighteen pontoons and twenty-four piers” structure earned it the title of the oldest open-and-close bridge in the world, according to bridge expert Mao Yisheng.
Walk along the ancient city walls built during the Ming dynasty, see the Guangji Gate Tower, and visit Kaiyuan Temple, known as the Pearl of Ancient Architecture. Comparable to Japan’s Tōdai-ji Temple, it has over 1,260 years of history.
End the day with a refined tea experience at Phoenix Tea House, where tea, zither music, delicate aromas and vintage décor create a poetic and timeless atmosphere.
Day 9 – Foshan
Discover the Nanfeng Ancient Kiln in Shiwan, the ceramic capital of southern China. Visit the National Ceramic Art Museum, the Ceramic Street, and the scenic Peacock Garden.
Day 10 – Foshan • Lingnan • Shunde
Visit the Foshan Ancestral Temple Museum, a top-tier national museum including the Ancestral Temple complex, cultural exhibition hall, Confucius Temple, and Huang Feihong Memorial. The museum highlights Taoist culture, martial arts and Foshan folk art.
Explore Lingnan New World, a district preserving traditional Lingnan architecture: arcades, “pot-ear” gables, blue-brick houses, stone alleys and guild halls. It also features traditional shops and a rich culinary heritage.
In the afternoon, visit Qinghui Garden in Shunde, one of China’s Top Ten Classical Gardens, known for its elegant blend of pavilions, water, ancient walls, gardens, sculptures, poetry and calligraphy.
Day 11 – Jiangmen • Kaiping • Taishan • Guangzhou
Visit Qimingli, a 100-year-old overseas Chinese village highlighting diaspora culture and nostalgia for homeland.
Explore Xiachuan Island in Taishan, known as the “Hawaii of the East”, with a 1.6 km soft sandy beach, crystal-clear water and palm trees.
Discover Yongqingfang, a historic cultural district in Xiguan, home to Cantonese opera culture, porcelain, embroidery and traditional crafts.
In the evening, enjoy a night cruise on the Pearl River to admire the illuminated cityscape.
Day 12 – Guangzhou • Paris
Morning flight to Paris.

Présentation du voyage
Un séjour exceptionnel pour explorer le Delta de la rivière des Perles du 26 février au 10 mars 2026, durant la magique Fête des Lanternes en Chine.
Vous découvrirez Hong Kong, Macao, Canton, Zhuhai, Chaozhou, Foshan, Shunde, Kaiping et Taishan.
Jour 1 – Guangzhou
Arrivée à Guangzhou. Transfert en car privatisé vers l’hôtel. Promenade dans les rues animées et découverte de la gastronomie locale.
Jour 2 – Festival des Lanternes (元宵节) à Guangzhou
Visite de l’Académie du Clan Chen (陈家祠), l’un des plus grands bâtiments traditionnels cantonais existants, magnifiquement décoré et parfaitement préservé. Surnommée la Perle de l’art architectural de Lingnan, elle abrite aujourd’hui le Musée d’art populaire du Guangdong, avec une riche collection d’artisanat datant des dynasties Ming et Qing.
La Fête des Lanternes est un moment de réunion familiale. On y déguste des boulettes de riz gluant (元宵), on prie pour la paix et la chance. Dans la Chine ancienne, ce festival était aussi l’occasion pour les jeunes hommes et les jeunes femmes de se rencontrer — la Saint-Valentin chinoise.
Le soir, promenade pour admirer les lanternes, assister aux danses du dragon et du lion, et célébrer la première pleine lune de l’année.
Jour 3 – Guangzhou • Montagne Guifengshan • Shenzhen
Le Parc forestier national de la montagne Guifeng, classé attraction touristique nationale de niveau AAAA, bénéficie d’un taux de couverture forestière de 98 %. Constamment enveloppée de brume, la montagne offre un cadre féerique digne d’un paradis terrestre.
Jour 4 – Shenzhen • Hong Kong
Visite de l’ancien quartier général de la police maritime à Tsim Sha Tsui (1881). Dès 1842, la Batterie n°1 de Kowloon Ouest y fut installée avant d’être abandonnée en 1854. En 1884, la police de Hong Kong construisit le bâtiment du quartier général sur ce site.
Croisière pour traverser la baie Victoria et profiter de panoramas spectaculaires. Le magazine National Geographic Travel classe cette traversée parmi les 50 expériences incontournables dans une vie.
Découverte de la place Golden Bauhinia, située près du Centre des Congrès et des Expositions, offrant un magnifique point de vue sur la baie.
Montée au Pic Victoria, le point culminant de l’île de Hong Kong, considéré comme l’une des attractions les plus emblématiques de la ville.
Jour 5 – Hong Kong • Macao • Zhuhai
Découverte des Ruines de Saint-Paul, monument emblématique de Macao, dont seul subsiste la façade après un incendie en 1835.
Visite de la Fortaleza do Monte, l’un des plus anciens complexes de fortifications d’inspiration occidentale existant en Chine.
Balade dans la rue Guanye, célèbre pour ses snacks traditionnels.
Découverte du Parisian Macao, inspiré de Paris et de la Tour Eiffel, pour une immersion romantique au cœur de Macao.
La Londoner Clock Tower, inspirée du Palais de Westminster et du Parlement britannique, abrite une Tour Elizabeth de 96 mètres de haut avec un cadran unique.
Le Venetian Resort, inspiré de Venise, offre ponts, canaux et ruelles pavées évoquant le charme vénitien.
Jour 6 – Zhuhai
Visite de l’emblème de la ville : la Statue de la Pêcheuse, puis de la Route des Amoureux, idéale pour admirer la beauté de la baie et écouter la légende de la Pêcheuse de Zhuhai.
Visite du Grand Théâtre de Zhuhai, surnommé les Coquilles Soleil et Lune, le seul opéra de Chine construit sur une île. Ses deux édifices en forme de coquillage offrent une architecture unique.
Jour 7 – Zhuhai • Chaozhou
Visite du Temple du Bouddha thaïlandais, inspiré d’un temple de marbre de Thaïlande.
Découverte du sanctuaire de Han Yu, l’un des huit sites touristiques majeurs de Chaozhou, pour comprendre les quatre contributions de ce grand maître des dynasties Tang et Song à la ville.
Visite du pont Xiangzi (incluant le pont supérieur), l’un des quatre ponts anciens les plus célèbres de Chine. Son style dix-huit barges et vingt-quatre îles en fait le plus ancien pont à ouverture variable au monde, selon l’expert Mao Yisheng.
Découverte des remparts de la ville ancienne bâtis sous la dynastie Ming, de la porte Guangji et du Temple Kaiyuan, surnommé Perle de l’art architectural ancien, comparable au célèbre Temple Tōdai-ji au Japon.
En fin de journée, expérience immersive au salon de thé Phoenix : dégustation de thé, sons de cithare, ambiance élégante et mobilier ancien pour un voyage dans le temps.
Jour 9 – Foshan
Visite de l’Ancien Four de Nanfeng, situé à Shiwan, capitale de la céramique du sud de la Chine. Découverte du Musée national d’art céramique, de la rue de la céramique et du Jardin des Paons.
Jour 10 – Foshan • Lingnan • Shunde
Visite du Musée du Temple Ancestral de Foshan, musée national de premier ordre. Il comprend l’ancien complexe du Temple Ancestral, la salle culturelle, le temple de Confucius et le mémorial Huang Feihong. On y découvre l’histoire, la culture taoïste, les arts martiaux et l’artisanat populaire de Foshan.
Découverte du Lingnan New World, quartier préservant de nombreux bâtiments traditionnels de Lingnan : arcades, pignons en forme d’oreille de pot, maisons en briques bleues, ruelles pavées et boutiques historiques. C’est également un haut lieu de culture culinaire.
L’après-midi, visite du Jardin Qinghui de Shunde, l’un des dix jardins les plus célèbres de Chine, harmonisant pavillons, eau, végétation, sculptures, poésie, calligraphie et architecture traditionnelle.
Jour 11 – Jiangmen • Kaiping • Taishan • Guangzhou
Visite du village Qimingli, village centenaire chinois d’outre-mer, axé sur la culture de la diaspora et la nostalgie du pays.
Excursion sur l’île de Xiachuan à Taishan, surnommée Hawaï de l’Est, pour sa plage de sable fin de 1 600 m, ses eaux claires et ses cocotiers.
Découverte de Yongqingfang, quartier historique de Xiguan, riche en culture traditionnelle, artisanat, opéra cantonais, broderie et porcelaine.
En soirée, croisière pour admirer la vue nocturne de la rivière des Perles.
Jour 12 – Guangzhou • Paris
Vol retour pour Paris dans la matinée.
