The most frequent service runs between Sulzano and Peschiera Maraglio, the island’s primary harbor. If you’re flying in, the nearest airport is Bergamo Orio al Serio International Airport. From there, you can take a coach to Brescia and then a train or bus to Sulzano or Sale Marasino to catch the ferry. Alternatively, a taxi from the airport to Sulzano is the fastest option.
Exploring Monte Isola
Monte Isola is a car-free zone, making it ideal for exploring on foot or by bicycle. Mopeds and bicycles are the only vehicles allowed, and the island features an extensive network of bike lanes and hiking trails. A circular trail of nearly 15 kilometers offers a comprehensive tour of the island, passing through peaceful fishing villages and lakeside cafés.

- Sanctuary of Madonna della Ceriola: Situated at the island’s highest point, this 13th-century sanctuary provides panoramic views of Lake Iseo and the surrounding mountains.
