Getting to Porto-Vecchio

Reaching Porto-Vecchio is straightforward. Fly into Figari South Corsica Airport, located about 23 kilometers southwest of the town. From there, you can rent a car or take a taxi. During July and August, a shuttle bus service connects the airport to Porto-Vecchio. Buses from major Corsican towns like Bonifacio, Ajaccio, and Bastia also serve the area. If you’re driving, aim to arrive early in the summer to avoid traffic and secure parking near the town center.

While Porto-Vecchio is accessible year-round, the ideal time to visit is between April and September. Expect warm, sunny weather perfect for beach outings and outdoor activities. If you prefer fewer crowds, consider visiting during the shoulder seasons of spring or fall.
