Trip details

Start & End Date: Wednesday, 08 July – Monday, 13 July 2026.
Meeting Location: Accommodation in Belgrade – Meet your local guide anytime after 8 PM on Wednesday.
Finishing Location: Accommodation in Belgrade – Anytime on Monday.
Hiking Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate – Hiking at a relaxed to moderate pace on well-marked mountain and forest trails. Moderate elevation gain. Good fitness & sure-footedness recommended.

Community leader & local English-speaking guide throughout the trip.
3 x Nights shared hotel accommodation in Belgrade and 2 x Nights shared apartment / hotel accommodation in Zlatibor.
Breakfast on all days.
Transportation for the entire trip starting from the meeting location to the finishing location.
Cruise on the Uvac Canyon with entry to the Ice Cave.

What is the plan?

Day 0 – Meet & Greet in Belgrade: Arrive in Belgrade and settle into the accommodation. Meet your guide and fellow travelers for a relaxed Balkan-style evening in Serbia’s energetic capital.

Day 1 – Zlatibor Mountains & Tornik Peak Hike: After breakfast, we journey into the heart of western Serbia towards Zlatibor. Today’s hike takes us through rolling meadows, pine forests, and panoramic ridgelines as we ascend to Tornik Peak (1,496m).

Day 2 – Uvac Canyon Adventure & Ice Cave: We begin with a scenic boat cruise through the canyon’s emerald waters before hiking up to the iconic panoramic viewpoint overlooking the winding meanders below. Later, we explore the hidden Ledenica Ice Cave.

Day 3 – Tara National Park Wilderness Trails: We hike through dense forests, mountain viewpoints, peaceful meadows, and hidden trails while learning about the region’s biodiversity and cultural heritage.

Day 4 – Belgrade: History, Underground & Culture: We explore Kalemegdan Fortress, Saint Sava Temple, Underground Belgrade tunnels & hidden history, Skadarlija bohemian quarter, traditional cafes, bars & local culture.

Day 5 – Farewell Serbia: After breakfast, we say our goodbyes in Belgrade. For those staying longer, there is an optional half-day trip to Avala Mountain.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Free cancellation up to 7 full days before the start of the trip. After that, cancel up to 5 days before the trip to get a 50% refund.
If the event is cancelled by Urbanature Travel (UNT), you will get a full refund (excluding any airfares), unless you have purchased a flight inclusive package directly with Urbanature Travel (UNT) in which case you will get a refund including the flights.
Please note that the program, as well as the venue is subject to change due to extreme weather conditions, as well as to the characteristics and size of the group.
Urbanature Travel (UNT) needs a minimum of 5 participants for this trip to take place, else we may cancel this trip.
UNT reserves the right to cancel the trip, modify the route, change the accommodation or re-schedule hikes and without prior notice.
UNT is not responsible for any loss, theft, damage or personal injury that occurs during the trip.
