Saturday 3 October — Chambord, vineyard and Tours

• 7:30 AM: meet at Porte Maillot in Paris.
• 8:00 AM: departure from Paris by touring coach.
• Château de Chambord: discover one of France's largest castles, a landmark of the French Renaissance associated with François I.
• Vineyard: visit a wine estate and discover the region's wine-growing heritage; the visit and tasting are not included in the ticket.
• Tours: discover Saint-Gatien Cathedral, the historic Vieux-Tours quarter and Place Plumereau.
• Overnight in Tours, as stated in the trip itinerary.

Sunday 4 October — Azay-le-Rideau and Chenonceau

• Château d'Azay-le-Rideau: explore the château beside the Indre, known for its romantic setting and architecture.
• Château de Chenonceau: discover the celebrated “Ladies' Castle”, whose galleries stretch across the Cher.
• Around 10:00 PM: planned arrival back in Paris.

Azay-le-Rideau and Chenonceau

Azay-le-Rideau and Chenonceau form the second day's two castle stops. Their waterside settings offer a different perspective after the monumental architecture of Chambord.

Transport and group

• Comfortable touring coach from Paris.
• Groups generally consist of approximately 50–60 people.
• A friendly, social atmosphere; games may be offered during the journey.
• The coach is not adapted for people with reduced mobility.

Accommodation

One night's accommodation is included. Rooms are offered for four people, with two double beds, or for two people, with twin beds or a double bed. The booking form offers the two-person room at an additional €7 per participant, subject to availability.

The accommodation information lists air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a private bathroom, television, an equipped kitchen with electric hob, refrigerator, microwave and crockery, plus bed linen and towels. The itinerary specifies a night in Tours; the property's name and exact address are not confirmed on the trip page.

Castle admission and tasting are additional expenses. Confirm the applicable amounts and any age or residency conditions before booking; they are not included in the trip price below.

Difficulty and accessibility

The stated effort level is moderate. The trip and coach are not suitable for people with reduced mobility. If you have specific accessibility needs, check suitability before booking.

Cancellation and changes

• Cancellation is possible within three days after purchase, provided it is requested at least 20 days before departure.
• A participant-name change is possible, with a fee of €5 or €10 according to the applicable conditions.
• No changes are possible in the final 48 hours before departure.
• If there are too few participants, LVP may cancel the trip up to two weeks before departure; participants will be refunded.

Tickets and room option

A limited allocation of five Promo tickets is offered at €85 until 18 September at 11:55 PM, Paris time. The Early ticket is €105 until Wednesday 23 September at 11:55 PM, followed by a Late ticket at €119. The booking form remains the authority for live availability and any booking charges.

A room for four is the base option. A room for two adds €7 per participant where available. Room availability can differ from the overall number of trip tickets available.
