Château de Chambord

Discover one of France's most spectacular Renaissance castles, built for King François I. Explore the royal rooms, monumental towers, terraces and the celebrated double-helix staircase traditionally associated with Leonardo da Vinci.

Optional Loire Valley wine experience

A private room inside Château de Chambord hosts a tasting of three Loire Valley wines: Cheverny white, Cour-Cheverny white and Chambord red, accompanied by local products. The experience introduces the rare Romorantin grape, brought to the Loire Valley by King François I more than five centuries ago.

Itinerary

• 7:30 AM: meeting and departure from Paris.
• Morning: walking tour of central Orléans, Sainte-Croix Cathedral and Joan of Arc landmarks, followed by free time for lunch.
• Afternoon: transfer to Chambord, self-guided château visit, optional private wine tasting and free time around the estate.
• Around 8:00 PM: planned return to Paris.

The event header currently states 7:30 AM–8:00 PM. This start time prevails over the older 8:00 AM departure wording still present in the description. The schedule may vary slightly because of traffic and weather.

Tickets and optional insurance

The live booking form currently lists Early Bird at €35, Regular at €40 and Last Ticket at €45. Availability can change in real time.

Optional cancellation insurance is offered during booking for approximately €3. According to the event description, it can refund 70% of the trip price without justification and up to 100% with valid justification, subject to the insurer's terms.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

You can purchase cancellation insurance at the time of your booking. If you have subscribed to it and cancel your trip, the insurance conditions will apply. ❗️ Without insurance, the organizer reserves the right to retain the entirety of the amounts paid, according to the standard cancellation terms.

If the organizer cancels due to force majeure, insufficient number of participants, or for security reasons, you will be fully refunded or offered an alternative, such as a voucher. ❗️ In case of cancellation by the organizer, the amount paid for the cancellation insurance will not be refunded.

• Your tour leader will provide all the essential information about the destination. However, they are not a specialized tour guide. If you wish to have expert guide services, these can be arranged with local guides at an additional cost.
• The proposed visits are suggestions and can be adjusted according to your personal preferences and the pace of the day.
• It is possible to travel solo, provided that you adhere to the scheduled times.
