Auvers-sur-Oise and Giverny: Monet and Van Gogh

Program

• 9:00 AM: departure from Porte Maillot in Paris.
• Auvers-sur-Oise: discover the village associated with Vincent van Gogh, then enjoy free time for lunch. Choose a local restaurant, a bakery or bring a homemade picnic.
• Giverny: visit the village and, optionally, Claude Monet's house and gardens, with the flower garden, water lilies, Japanese bridges and the painter's studio.
• 8:00 PM: planned return to Porte Maillot in Paris.

Places to discover

The announced places include Monet's house and gardens, Monet's grave, the Museum of Impressionism, Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption Church, the landscapes associated with Wheatfield with Crows, Van Gogh's final home and grave, and the Chateau d'Auvers-sur-Oise.

Transport and group

• Travel is by comfortable touring coach.
• The group usually consists of approximately 50 to 60 participants.
• The atmosphere is designed to be friendly and social; games may be offered during the journey.
• The coach is not adapted for people with reduced mobility.

Difficulty and accessibility

The stated effort level is easy. The coach is not accessible to people with reduced mobility. Participants with specific needs should verify whether the trip is suitable before booking.

Cancellation and changes

• Cancellation is possible within three days of purchase, provided the request is made more than 20 days before departure.
• A participant-name change costs EUR 5 for this day trip; the request must be approved at least 48 hours before departure.
• No change is possible during the final 48 hours before the trip.

Tickets

The live booking form currently lists a five-place Promo ticket at EUR 40.07, an Early Ticket at EUR 46.19 before September 30 and a Late Ticket at EUR 50.27. Availability can change in real time.

TRIP open to everyone, all ages, all nationalities. For minors travelling without a parent or legal guardian, the organizer must have contact details for the minor or the person responsible at the destination. Authorization to leave the country may be required depending on the destination.
