Spend Saturday 10 October in Bruges, a remarkably preserved medieval city shaped by canals, Gothic façades and cobbled streets. This easy day trip from Paris leaves plenty of free time to explore at your own pace, share the day with an international group and enjoy Belgian specialities.
Often called the Venice of the North, Bruges combines UNESCO-listed scenery with intimate squares, waterside walks and centuries of art. Come alone or with friends: a tour leader travels with the group and helps create a friendly atmosphere, while visits in Bruges remain independent and flexible.

Begin around Markt and Burg, the historic heart of the city. Markt is framed by colourful guild houses and the Belfry; nearby Burg brings together the Gothic Town Hall and the Basilica of the Holy Blood. Continue through Simon Stevinplein, the lanes of the old centre and the peaceful Beguinage garden.
A canal cruise is an optional way to see the city from the water. Boats leave from several central landing stages, including Nieuwstraat 11 and Rozenhoedkaai. The organiser's published indicative price is €15 per adult and €9 for children aged 4–11; check the operator's current price and opening conditions on the day.
Art lovers can visit the Groeninge Museum at Dijver 12. The organiser lists indicative admission at €15 for adults, €13 for ages 12–25 and free entry under 12. The Basilica of the Holy Blood at Burg 13 is another central landmark, while the Beguinage at Begijnhof 30 offers a quieter contrast.
Leave time for local flavours: Flemish carbonnade, shrimp croquettes, fries, Belgian beer, chocolate and waffles. Brewery visits, museum tickets, the canal cruise and any carriage ride are optional and at your own expense.

- 07:20: check-in at 26–28 bis Place de la Nation, Paris.
- 07:30: coach departure for Bruges.
- Around 11:00: arrival and free time in Bruges.
- 17:00: coach departure for Paris.
- Around 21:30–22:00: arrival in Paris, depending on traffic.
Please arrive before check-in closes. Minor schedule changes may occur because of traffic or other unforeseen conditions.
