Liechtenstein’s public transportation is efficient, with a bus network connecting major towns and villages, including those near Drei Schwestern. Consider purchasing a daily or weekly bus pass for unlimited travel.

Best Time to Visit

Visit Drei Schwestern between June and September. The summer months offer mild weather, ideal for hiking. Trails are less crowded than during peak tourist seasons. However, mountain weather can be unpredictable, so check forecasts and prepare accordingly.

The Drei Schwestern Experience

The Drei Schwestern trail offers stunning views of the Alpine Rhine Valley and the Saminatal. The ridge runs from north to south, with the southern path leading to the border summit Garsellakopf and further to Kuhgrat, entirely in Liechtenstein. The area is well-developed for hikers, with an extensive network of paths. The main peak is accessible via rock climbing routes, with difficulty levels ranging from UIAA II to V. The north wall of the middle sister features routes with a UIAA level VI difficulty.
