The best way to reach Bahía Bustamante is by renting a car.
It’s about 3 hours (250 km) from Comodoro Rivadavia and 4 hours (330 km) from Trelew.
The last 40 km are on a gravel road, so a 4×4 is recommended but not necessary.
By Plane:
The closest airports are Comodoro Rivadavia (CRD) and Trelew (REL).
From there, you must rent a car or book a transfer.
By Bus:
There is no direct public transport to Bahía Bustamante.
You can take a bus to Garayalde or Camarones and then arrange a transfer with the lodge.

The food was excellent, and the stories shared by the staff about the land and its history added depth to my visit. Bahía Bustamante is truly one of my favorite places on earth, and I hope to return soon.
